What do I do if I was injured at work?

Most employers (by law) are required to provide Workers' Compensation insurance to their employees. Workers' Compensation covers medical treatment for those employees injured on the job.

If you were injured as a result of your work, you must notify your employer/supervisor. If your injury was an emergency and you have already been treated, notify your employer/supervisor immediately. Failure to do so may result in a loss of insurance payments due to you.
